Handmade solid oak table lamp , the lamp is made up of reclaimed whisky barrel oak.

The barrel is scorched in the inside to give the whisky its golden colour during the aging process, i have left the scorching on the wood as i believe it gives the lamp a more natural overall feel. The outside of the barrel is also evident on the inside legs of the lamp.

All of the material used on this lamp (with the exception of the electrics) has come from the whisky barrel oak itself, even down to the cord clamp. The top and middle section have been turned by me on my workshop lathe, the legs are secured with wood screws and dowels for added strength.

Another feature that i have incorporated is to hide the lamp cord in one of the lamp legs, this allows the cord to flow from the back of the lamp in a nice and tidy manner. There is nothing worse than an unsightly lamp cord getting tangled up in the legs of your nice new lamp !!

The lamp comes with a chrome BC (Bayonet Cap) lamp fitting that has an in line switch on the cord and is completed with a moulded plug for safety.

Please note that the lamp shade is NOT included with the sale and is only for photographic purposes, besides it is a lot more fun picking your own lamp shade

Standard Size is Approx - 400mm from bottom to top of lamp fitting and 160mm Diameter at base.
