A generously sized Cardigan for cold winter evenings made from hand spun Jacob fleece, that is Navajo plied, is used in this garment which is then hand knitted to our own pattern, the technique produces a chunky yarn. A good warm edge to edge cardigan that will keep you warm on a cold winters evening! The stitch detail on the edges and cuffs is in double moss stitch to give a firm durable edge on the cuffs and front band. With handspun fleece all the oils are never removed from the fibres but this makes the cardigan good in cold weather.
Washing Instructions - hand washing in wool washing liquid is advised short spin only. Dry flat.
Press if required with steam through a cloth fabric only.
Do not tumble dry - Do not use biological washing liquid.

Cardigans are for slouching in on winter evenings so I decided to make a unisex cardigan. The edge to edge idea can from seeing people unbutton the cardy and wrap themselves up! So anyone can wear it and keep warm on a winter evening. Inspiration from winter farmland helps to decide where the stripes form on the work looking like fields after ploughing.
