The idea of a photo journal has been drifting around the bookbinding studio for a while. Good design takes time & I'm happy we had a good think through. The idea was to create a more casual album that had a journal quality, inviting the owner to write & doodle in it as well as sticking things in. A simple elastic band holds the pages - which are expected to fatten - together & when we decided to print the title onto the bookcloth we knew we had it just right at last.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

An album, a journal, a writer's research notebook, an artist's sketchbook... You decide!
New to the booktides range of albums & journals is something in-between: the Photo Journal. With 96 blank cream coloured pages (192 page sides), there are plenty of pages for sticking in your photos & momentos as well as writing notes about them directly on the page. To help keep everything safe, we've added a protective elastic band. Or use as a journal or sketchbook & the band will help keep your extra notes safe. The journal measures 21 x 15 cm landscape oriented (but you can use it portrait). The cover is semi-hardback - sturdy but with a bit of give. Your photo journal will be sent to you securely boxed.
PERSONALISE IT;
PHOTO JOURNAL is printed directly onto the linen bookcloth. If you would like to make your journal more personal to you or for someone as a gift, you can request a name to be added to the printing on the bookcloth spine overlap eg "SHARON'S PHOTO JOURNAL". Just add a note with your order. The font is "DK P.I." for that wonky typewriter look, but if you would prefer a different font just let us know.
Use double sided tape or photo corners to stick your pictures in. We sell for photo corners at £2 per box.
