Hand spun Jacob fleece, that is Navajo plied, is used in this garment which is then hand knitted to our own pattern, the technique produces a chunky yarn. In the style of a Guernsey jumper this sweater has a garter stich bottom to front and back and has drop shoulders. The front and back top half of the sweater is patterned with a cable design topped with a crew neck. A good outdoor jumper suitable for men and women designed for walkers and golfers alike! With handspun fleece all the oils are never removed from the fibres but this makes the jumper good in cold weather.
Washing Instructions - hand washing in wool washing liquid is advised short spin only. Dry flat.
Press if required with steam through a cloth fabric only.
Do not tumble dry - Do not use biological washing liquid.

Jacob Fleece is widely available to the hand spinner but I select only the softest part from many fleece and the darkest brown to produce a hand spun yarn. By Navajo plying the yarn I get blocks of brown and short sections of white to give a unique look to the jumper. The jumper is thicker than normal and this makes for a warm, cosy jumper for winter use.
