Full description
Beautifully soft and warm yet still lightweight this scarf has been made using merino wool nuno felted on silk chiffon. Fine layers of green merino wool have been laid over both sides of a silk chiffon base fabric, a poppy design has been added to one side and the scarf has been nuno felted.
The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
The scarf is felted on both sides with the poppies on one side only.
A striking addition to any outfit the resulting scarf measures approximately 148cm x 40cm (58.3" x 15.8") and is long enough to tie in many ways. It is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper, complete with information about nuno felting and washing instructions, making it a fabulous gift idea for any occasion. Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
