The disabled children of Africa are our inspiration and the amazing work Disability Africa does to support them.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This is a CHARITY project run by Crafts & Company in order to raise funds and awareness for Disability Africa.
Each pack contains a printed square ready to stitch, four different colour embroidery threads, a beginner stitch library card, information about the charity and full instructions.
Once you have stitched your square you send it back to us (address is in the pack) and we will make them up into contemporary lap quilts. These quilts will then be auctioned in spring 2018 with all proceeds going to the charity.
Disability in Africa is a terrible problem, largely out of view. Disability Africa needs funds to run their play schemes that allow disabled children to start to thrive. £5 will pay for hot meals for a child for a week. Your pack costs £6 to allow for postage. We will select one of the designs at random but they are all lovely.
