Full description
A fabulously soft, warm and lightweight scarf. This scarf has been made by nuno felting very fine layers of green merino wool onto both sides of a piece of silk chiffon fabric. A striking poppy design has been added to one side prior to felting.
The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it.
The resulting scarf is very sheer and lightweight and drapes beautifully around the neck. Ideal for spring or summer wear but equally suitable for the cooler months. The scarf measures approximately 132cm x 32cm (51.9" x 12.6") and is supplied wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper. Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
