Full description
This gorgeously soft and warm wool and silk scarf is made using the nuno felting process. Fine layers of green merino wool are laid over both sides of a silk chiffon scarf and a poppy design added to one side prior to felting.
Nuno felting is a process which results in the woollen fibres to migrating through the silk and binding with it.
The resulting scarf measures approximately 164cm x 37cm, (64.5" x 14.5") long enough to wrap around the neck for extra warmth and yet still lightweight.
The scarf is felted on both sides with the poppies on one side only.
A striking addition to any outfit the scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper, complete with information about nuno felting and washing instructions, making it a fabulous gift idea for any occasion. Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
