Organic, Natural Coconut Shell, Carved, Sanded and Shaped with Paua Shell Laminate inlay. The Shell is then polished and Lacquered at front to create a lovely finish. the Back of the shell is sanded and left natural. Pendant hangs from a black cord , the back of cord has a silver t-bar clasp fastening

I discovered that Coconut shell has a lovely patina on the surface when it has been smoothed and glazed. The Coconut shell is light in weight so even large peices would not hang around the neck heavily. I enjoy making jewelry out of all sorts of discarded material, especially natures natural materials
