Semicolon ring in 100% sterling silver - this is my own design, made by myself in my workshop in the UK.
The ring spirals round the finger and is adjustable for comfort - but please order in the correct size to make sure the semicolon doesn't pull apart. The band is 2mm deep and can be made in any ring size. Please confirm your ring size when ordering.
I make two versions - one which is shiny silver and the other with an oxidised silver (black) semicolon.
So what does the semicolon mean?
A writer uses it when they might choose to end their sentence but instead use a semicolon and continue: pause and resume.
The semicolon symbol was adopted by the Semicolon Project to promote mental health and suicide awareness. The idea is that your life represents that sentence. The use of the semicolon means : my story isn't over yet.
This little ring is especially important to me because I have suffered with clinical depression since my teens and have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. So many times I thought about giving up but I'm still here. And my jewellery helps to keep me sane!
