Handmade lavender bags made from fabric offcuts. There are three bags, two larger approx 10cm square and one slightly smaller. The bags are filled with 100% dried lavender from Yorkshire, sold by lavender world - a family run business with an emphasis on quality, sustainability and environmentally friendly products.
There are two different sets available, one in blue and white shades and the other retro flowery patterns in autumn shades. Please let me know which you require. They will come wrapped in recycled tissue paper and could be used for a gift or put in your draw to keep your socks smelling sweet. I have heard that lavender is also supposed to keep the moths at bay which I think it does but my husband thinks is an old wives tale. Either way they smell lovely.
In the blue trio the fabric of the smaller one is a gorgeous organic herringbone weave 'Ann's flowers' from the organic textile company based in Machynlleth. I love this material so much, it is beautiful to look at and has a lovely texture. The spotty fabric was left over from a summer dress I made with my older daughter teaching her to use the sewing machine and the flowery one was from a patchwork cushion cover. The retro set fabrics are all from my childhood stash and bring back memories of making soft furnishings for my dolls house and outfits for sylvanian families. I would have great joy opening my treasure chest of odds and ends and sorting out the lovely fabrics, still do really!
