Measures 8.7 cm wide and 15.5 cm tall.
Created using traditional stained glass techniques and materials this amber cat light catcher has been hand painted onto antique style, amber glass and fired in a kiln. The detailed line and shading paint is fired first and in a second firing a touch of colour enamel is added for the cats eyes. At high temperature the paints fuse together with the glass making the image permanent and enduring.
The glass pieces have been joined together by edging with copper foil and solder and finished with a bronze patina. There is a chain attached ready for hanging the light catcher in a window or in front of any light surface.
