Each spring these flowers appear in our garden, just in two small clusters. They seem mysterious and beautiful with their rose purple chequer pattern. The early bumble bees love them too.

Full description
This panel measures 15 cm ( 6 inches approx ) square and has been created using traditional stained glass techniques and materials.
The fritillary design has been painted onto pale amber, antique style glass and fired in a kiln. The stained glass paints fuse together with the glass at high temperature making the image permanent and enduring.
The painted central amber glass and delicate purple-pink glass frame are joined together with solder and finished with a bronze patina. The finished panel is supplied with a stainless steel chain attached, and is ready to be placed in front of a window and be viewed in all the ever changing and different lights.
