Full description
This brooch is great for adding a bit of fun to jumpers, coats, bags and hats.
I've used a combination of techniques including freemotion machine sewing for the majority of the girl on a calico fabric with a pink and lime cotton fabric for her dress and shoes. I've then layered this onto white lace and pale blue wool and edged it with hand sewn blanket stitch using pale blue embroidery thread. The girl is surrounded by hand stitched raindrops in the same thread.
The size is 4cm wide by 9cm tall. There is a catch brooch pin sewn to the back covered with a piece of felt for extra security.
The brooch will be wrapped in tissue paper and tied with coloured raffia and a hand made gift tag.
