Full description
A smart leather sketchbook or journal in black, with a decorative longstitch binding. Lined with Italian paper, with a design of old books. A great gift for a writer, or a special gentleman!
The cover is high quality black leather with a lovely grain and soft feel.
The leather is lined with patterned paper from Italy, which has a design of old, antique books on a white background.
The book is hand bound with contrasting rusty-red linen thread, in a decorative variation of long stitch.
There are 64 pages (148 sides) of good quality, medium weight creamy cartridge drawing paper. The pages are arranged in eight sets and the book will open flat throughout.
Book measurements: 21.5cm / 8.5 ins X 15cm / 6 ins (A5 size).
This book would make a great sketchbook to take out and about. The leather is strong and durable, so it would protect the paper inside. It has a strong binding and will last a long time. It would also make a good journal or notebook, poetry book, book of lists, even a record of meetings or work planner. An ideal gift for a special man, a student or artist.
