Item details
I love carving spoons. The whole process, from collection the wood to sitting in my garden roughing out the shape with an axe to relaxing and finishing it off with a knife. It's physical work but very rewarding especially when oil is applied to the finished spoon and the grain comes out.
This spoon is from Cherry wood, easy to carve fresh but tends to split as it dries so getting a finished product can be a challenge. I carved this in May when the blossom was out a thought a Buddha under a cherry tree would look good.
This item will be posted to you by Jimbo's wooden spoons and stuff within 5 days of receiving payment.
