I re-discovered my love of printmaking in 2013, having enjoyed learning some techniques at Art Foundation some time before. I soon realised my main passion was for lino printing and I began creating bold designs and looking at how texture affects my work.

Full description
I wanted to create a print that would appeal to a child or adult and I think that planets are very appealing visually. I love merging colours to give depth to my work and think white into orange works very well. I also enjoy playing with textures in my work and I think that use of metallic textured paper in this image brings it to life.
The image itself measures 141x95mm. It is in a black frame (30mm deep) with outer dimensions of 182x132mm.
It would make a perfect gift for someone who is interested in space or could be a lovely addition to a child's bedroom.
