Cubic zirconia is often used as a more affordable and environmentally-friendly alternative to the diamond. In fact, since they can be manufactured without flaws, they can be brighter and more sparkly than diamonds themselves.
Called "the stone of practicality” it is believed to improve focus, increase clarity and release the ego, and it is sometimes used as an alternative birthstone for April.
