Item details

This is a quirky pet bed, suitable for cats or smaller dogs.
It is made from a vintage 1950s suitcase, relined and padded.

The internal measurements are:
46cm x 26cm, with a depth of 14 cm.
(18.2 inches x 10.3 inches x 5.5 inches)

The lining fabric is a fine wool with a tartan design.
It is backed with a layer of cotton wadding, with a beigevelvet bias binding trim around the lid.

The large base cushion is made from a heather coloured herringbone tweed wool.
There is a deep envelope opening to the rear, which is the same fabric as the front.

This suitcase bed comes with two additional scatter cushions.
Each cushion has a removable cover, with a deep envelope opening to the reverse.

One cushion is made in the same herringbone wool as the base cushion.
The other is made from the same fine tartan wool as the suitcase lining.

All three cushion covers can be gently hand washed or specialist dry cleaned.

PLEASE NOTE:
As the lid has been gently padded on the inside it is now a decorative feature of the pet bed.
This means the suitcase can no longer be completely closed, as this would damage the decorative edging.
