This is a perfect Summer necklace featuring stunning Abalone.
I have paired it with tiny green agate gemstones and silver Haematite, the back 3 inches of the necklace are chain.
It is a very dainty and lightweight necklace so is comfortable to wear. The longest of the Abaolone is approx 3/4 of an inch.
The Abalone is a rainbow of colours and so so pretty. The Abalone is ethically sourced, it is a shell that has been used for centuries for jewellery making thanks to the beautiful colours found inside the shell. It holds spiritual meaning in many cultures, a disc of abalone shell is worn on the forehead of Apache girls as they greet the sun in the morning of their initiation into womanhood.
The necklace is approx 18 inches long so it sits just below the neckline and fastens with a lobster clasp.
