A local Joiners shop was throwing out some off cuts from a job , a conservatory with long mahogany beams. I fluttered my eye lids nicely and a few off cuts were passed over, some to become these lovely little bowls. They are even sweeter, as that Joinery shop uses the offcuts to heat the premisies in the winter, so another lovely piece of timber saved from the wood pile. (I like re-using, reclaiming, finding a use for bits that others throw aways, it seems to make them even more beatiful to my eyes!)
