I had my ears pierced when I was about 11 by a woman (qualified too) who hated doing the process so much that she closed her eyes (I'm not making this up!). This resulted in one of my piercings being very close to the bottom of my earlobe. This means that I can't wear very large or heavy earrings as they stretch my earlobes.
Discovering these super light wooden shapes has allowed me to create bold statement earrings with out the weight.

Full description
These are an unusual and fun pair of earrings featuring my own marbled paper on 2.5cm wooden stars. The total length of the drop is about 4cm (from the top of the earwire to the lowest part of the star).
They are double sided with a slightly different design on the reverse cut from the same sheet of paper. The edges have been coloured with a matching shade of acrylic and then they have been finished with a light coat of matt varnish. The purple is my own mixed iridescent colour which alters depending on the angle of viewing.
Suitable for any age, they are also super light to wear so lots of impact with out discomfort.
Makes a perfect fun and funky gift for the lady in your life.
The findings are sterling silver. They will come wrapped in tissue paper and in an organza bag before being securely wrapped up for posting.
