This bracelet is made with Abalone shell, some Abalone is a thin layer laid on resin, these are very dainty pure Abalone, allowing the rainbow colours to shine through.
The beads are 8mm by 6mm and so pretty! The little beads in between are a green Shell Pearl which highlight the lovelt sea greens in the shell.
It is very dainty and lightweight to wear, it fastens with a lobster clasp and has a little daisy charm on the end of the chain.
The Abalone is a rainbow of colours and so so pretty. The Abalone is ethically sourced, it is a shell that has been used for centuries for jewellery making thanks to the beautiful colours found inside the shell. It holds spiritual meaning in many cultures, a disc of abalone shell is worn on the forehead of Apache girls as they greet the sun in the morning of their initiation into womanhood.
