EARRINGS DESCRIPTION
These earrings are hand crafted from organic recycled coconut shell. This particular piece took me over three hours to hand carve. These earrings can be worn in the shower.
Like all my jewellery it is finished to a very high quality as I use more than five different grains of sand paper to polish the coconut shell so that it is not only shiny but beautifully tactile.
COCONUT
I love using coconut shell as it is a naturally occurring material that is recycled into something beautiful without the use of harsh chemicals. One of the beauties of coconut shell is its appearance improves with wearing as it develops a warm patina and is also very tactile. Coconut is an unusual base material for crafting jewellery so your piece is more unique and individual. Custom pieces can be made to make that one off piece that no-one else has.
