I've been making these hare sculptures for a few years now and they are always such a lovely statement. I make them in hessian, I've worked with lace details and I've painted them. This time I used my favourite Harris tweed in a sophisticated and happy mustard yellow. A ray of sunshine. x

Full description
This is a very large piece that would make a real statement in any room. The stunning Harris tweed gives this piece real life. He is hand stitched and has glass eyes and large wired ears. He is sitting on a piece of really rough driftwood and measures a respectable 70cm from top of ear to bottom of wood.
This is a totally unique, handmade piece of textile art. I cut all my work free hand and without any patterns, it makes work more exciting and the result is always one of a kind. Thank you for looking and let me know if you have any questions. x
