Living in Cornwall, scenes like this often fill my mind as a walk the beach. Nature hugs me and all things wild and beautiful fill my head. Here a very cute puffin has found his way to my easel! His beautiful plumage reflects all sorts of vibrant colors, which for me made for a fabulous subject to paint. From the orange of his bright curved beak, to the greens of the wilderness surrounding him, I had a blast pulling all that color into their white feathers!
