Crochet your own chubby cat using this simple amigurumi pattern.
The finished cat is approximately 8cm tall (this may vary depending on the yarn you use and how tight your stitches are).
You will need:
DK yarn – colour of your choice, plus small amount of contrasting yarn for facial features
4mm crochet hook
Stuffing – polyester toy & cushion stuffing, or natural stuffing such as cotton or wool
9mm plastic safety eyes (alternatively, small buttons or pieces of felt for eyes)
Tapestry needle for sewing parts together
This pattern uses British crochet terms - if you are used to American stitch names, just remember that a British double crochet stitch is the same as an American single crochet stitch.
