Full description
Bees are always popular so thought I would make a honeycomb to go along with one.
The honeycomb has been made from 10 hexagonal in five types of amber muffle, wissmach, sea glass and florentine glass. The bee has been made from yellow water glass and clear wissmach glass with black glass nuggets for the eyes. Each piece of glass has been copper foiled and soldered together, additional strips have been added to the bee and a patina applied to form the black stripes.
The overall size of this sun catcher measures 15.5 cms x 15 cms.
