Full description
This OOAK felted merino wool scarf has been made from various shades of blue merino wool that have been wet felted. Incorporated into the design are various techniques including an area of lattice work, a small ruffle along part of one edge and the addition of textural items such as curly wool locks, wool neeps (tiny woollen balls) and pieces of silk chiffon that have been nuno felted to the surface. The formation of tassels at both ends completes the design.
The scarf measures approximately 137cm x 24cm ( 54" x 9.5") and is soft and warm. It is a unique item and is sure to make a statement.
The scarf is provided wrapped in floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift.
Hand wash only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
