This pretty yet practical shoulder bag is made from a delightful cotton linen fabric with a vintage inspired pattern showing a selection of musical instruments, crowns, pockets watches extracts from musical manuscripts, old postcards, and advertisements. The main colours are gold, brown and black on a powder blue background.
This lightweight "bucket" shaped bag easily folds flat when not in use, which makes it very handy for packing in a suitcase.
The bag is fully interlined and is fitted with an antique bronze coloured magnetic snap closure. The interior is lined with cotton fabric in a slightly lighter shade of blue than the outside of the bag. Also on the inside is a handy pocket just the right size for a mobile phone or any of those other bits and bobs that you want to keep track of. The pocket also fastens with a magnetic snap closure and is made from the same pale blue fabric as the lining.
The handles, which are securely stitched to the top of the bag, are made from plain black cotton twill fabric. The handles have been interlined, and are reinforced on the inside with sturdy jute webbing.
Approximate dimensions: 41.5cm (16ins) wide (at the widest point), 37cms (14.5ins) high, and 12cm (4.5ins) deep
Length of handle: 75cm (29.5ins)
I love retro and vintage inspired fabrics and often use them for my bags. I really liked all the gold, brown and black labels and images used in this design against the lovely pastel blue background.
