My pocket mirrors include a cabochon made by me using an image chosen to reflect a particular theme or tell a little story. All my mirrors come with a little handmade fabric case with a colour scheme chosen to tone with the colours used in the cabochon image.
For this particular mirror, the theme is of course the seaside. I chose the image that I used for the cabochon because I thought it perfectly captured the combination of colours that I've associated with the sea and seaside since childhood.

Full description
This pretty little round compact mirror is decorated with a vintage inspired cabochon and comes with its own little cotton linen fabric case.
The glass cabochon on the outside of the compact case shows an image of two seahorses, a starfish and shells against a background of old fashioned handwriting, all in shades of brown, amber and orange. Inside the compact are two mirrors, including one magnifying mirror.
The little case that comes with this compact mirror is made from dusky peach coloured cotton linen, and is lined with a dusky peach coloured fabric patterned with burgundy and paler peach coloured flowers. The case is fully interlined to help keep its shape, and closes with a button and loop fastening. The button is covered in the same fabric as the lining of the case.
