A super squishy 16x16 inch cushion crocheted using Rowan Cork, a soft and chunky merino wool. The cushion cover is embroidered with French knots using a multi-coloured yarn. It is backed with an upholstery weight deep wine red cotton mix fabric and has a buttoned back. There are crocheted flowers on each corner of the cushion, with a complimentary peach button at each centre. The pad is fibre-fill.

I have made two cushions with this lovely chunky wool, with slight variations. Both have been embroidered with French Knots, using a multi-coloured wool. I love the idea of mixing crochet with sewing and embroidery, a mixed media in textures. I felt this cushion benefitted from small flowers in each corner, like clematis flowers poking through a trellis.
