I love nature and am especially enjoying the garden bursting into life after the winter. The leaves are opening up and give a sense of hope. My leaves are very popular so I am experimenting with width and length as well as the material used. I make them in copper and brass too, but all have solid silver ear hooks and are carefully packaged in a box to protect them in the post. I send them first class royal mail with proof of posting.

Full description
Leaves of Silver are made by annealing (heating) the silver, then rolling the silver with a leaf. I then oxidise the silver, carefully papering off the excess, leaving the silver showing with the veins of the leaf picked out in black. I then add a coat of frigilene to protect the oxidation from wearing off and help slow down the tarnishing process.
