I love finding these Liberty silk chiffon fabrics. They have such a quality about them and are always worth the investment for the richness of the colours and the fineness of the silk. I have to search to find silk chiffon with such beautiful designs that lend themselves so readily to lighting. I love this particular design, whether illuminated or not.

Full description
Botanical inspired Liberty print silk chiffon and natural white Icelandic wool combine in these Nuno felted fairy lights. The silk design features earthy tones of predominantly red, blue and gold in a quirky, folksy pattern. Through the process of wet felting, the wool fibres are drawn through the fine quality silk weave to create a single sheet of tactile fabric, which is then cut and mounted onto each of the 20 warm white LED bulbs. These lights look fresh and summery and with the palette of colours used in the fabric would work in any room.
The felted discs are hot glued around each bulb. The LED bulbs produce no heat and the chain is battery operated, so can be safely and easily displayed anywhere. The clear chain is just over 2m in length with approximately 8cm between lights and a distance of 30cm to a compact white battery compartment. They will require 2xAA batteries (not included). Each disc is 5cm in diameter and no two are the same.
The lights are presented in a brown ribbed Kraft box with layers of natural tissue paper. This will be double boxed for posting and sent First Class, requiring a signature upon delivery.
