We love to find ways of recycling reclaimed objects into something new. Well, here we've reclaimed aluminium drinks cans and removed the tops and bottoms (sent them for kirbside recycling) and then permanently coloured the rest with a hand-produced print, resulting in a small sheet of aluminium for you to use in your work. This works brilliantly for card making, jewellery projects, scrapbooking and sketchbook work etc. The choice is yours! Every sheet is unique, so colours, textures and patterns may differ slightly from the images shown. Please let us know if you want colours brighter or lighter than the pictures and we'll do our best to help.
Each sheet of aluminium you buy will be a minimum of 20 x 7cms.
Try using our coloured aluminium for sophisticated jewellery projects and card making etc. It can be punctured effectively with an unthreaded sewing machine to create perforations. Alternatively, you may choose to distress it with sand paper or emboss it with punch tools. Look out for our own hand-distressed and embossed aluminium products.
Important!!!
PLEASE TAKE CARE WHEN HANDLING THE ALUMINIUM SHEET- IT IS SHARP. EVERY SHEET IS TRIMMED ON A GUILLOTINE TO GIVE A SMOOTH EDGE- HOWEVER CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN CUTTING AND HANDLING THIS MATERIAL AT HOME YOURSELF. CONSIDER STORING YOUR ALUMINIUM SHEETS OUT OF THE WAY OF CHILDREN AND PETS.
