ECOCALM Organic Handmade 10% Sulphur & 3% Salicylic Acid Soap -
Acne, Eczema, Seborrhoea, Rosacea & Psoriasis Topical Treatment
100% handmade in the UK using the traditional soap-making method called 'Cold Process'.
No artificial colourings or fragrances added hence the soap is suitable for sensitive facial skin
No SLS (sodium laureth sulphates) or parabens (believed to cause skin cancer)
Colour and hardness of the soap bar will vary depending on the curing time
Palm oil - free and vegan-friendly
Ingredients: Saponified Olive Pomace, Rapeseed, Sunflower, Coconut, Castor, Oils, Shea Butter, Soy Wax, 10% Sulphur, 3% Salicylic Acid, and 1% Zinc Powder.
Active Ingredients:
Sulphur: useful in acne medication and problem skin treatments, helps kill bacteria on the skin, which results in an improvement in acne, pimples, seborrhoea and psoriasis conditions. Gives the soap natural yellow/ish colour. Has a distinct (rather unpleasant) odour.
Salicylic Acid: used to help clear and prevent pimples and skin blemishes in people who have acne. It may take a week or longer for you to feel the full benefits. Some people including pregnant women might be allergic to salicylic acid; skin patch test is therefore imperative before use.
Zinc: lessens the formation of damaging free radicals and protects the cells that make collagen—when skin is exposed to UV light, pollution and other skin-agers. It also protects against infection, controls inflammation.
