Contemporary cushion made from triangles pieced together by machine, then hand quilted to form a great textured fabric.

The fabrics used are either vintage or upcycled from clothing. The cushion back is made from an upcycled work shirt. The fabrics were chosen for their pale, low volume colours, at the same time adding a bit of Spring colour with the soft yellows and pinks.

This cushion would look great in a pale modern room setting, or would look equally at home in a shabby chic or eclectic style room.

The cushion cover measures 17" x 17" (43 x 43cm) and will fit a 16" (40cm) square cushion pad comfortably. The photos show the cushion cover with this size pad.

The listing is for the cushion cover only to keep postage costs down. Postage costs are for Royal Mail Second Class small parcels to the UK only.

I love to breathe new life into vintage and old fabrics and clothing, to upcycle and transform them into something new, usable and practical. New from old.
I like to experiment with putting together simple geometric shapes and see how the choice of fabric, colour and placement can produce exciting, new and diverse fabrics, by using the traditional construction methods of piecing and quilting to make a contemporary and useful product.
