This striking scarf has been made using white merino wool nuno felted onto a white silk chiffon base fabric with a border in a blend of rainbow colours added.
This scarf has been nuno felted on both sides of a silk chiffon base fabric, a process that causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The rainbow border has been felted in such a way as to create a slightly ruffled effect. The resulting scarf is extremely lightweight, soft and warm. It measures approximately 158cm x 25cm (62" x 10") and is long enough to wrap around the neck for additional warmth.
Perfect teamed up with any outfit, smart or casual it would make an ideal gift. It is supplied packaged in a lovely gift box as shown with labelling explaining the nuno felting process and providing washing instructions.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and iron on a cool (wool/silk) setting or press with a cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
