This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
and would make a lovely gift for someone you love..
It is a simple, Mackintosh style red rose, made using different types of bright red glass with bright green glass leaves in a clear heart.
The surrounding heart is in satin clear glass with a delicate texture which picks out nicely the simplicity of the rose.
Hanging in the window it catches the light and it would make a lovely ornament for any room.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the rose. It is 11 cm high and 13 cm wide.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The 5th photo shows the previous heart to this design to show you that, though the same pattern they are all different.
