I like working with a variety of colour combinations and a customer requested these shades together but in any order. I decided to start off with the bronze, then the medium blue shade and lastly the navy blue stripes and continued the sequence to create a contrasting and eye catching effect.
The stripes are lengthways but the blanket can be made so that the stripes are width ways and the blanket is finished with a bronze crochet edging.

I have created afghan crochet blankets for single beds, double beds and blanket throws for the sofa in various colour combinations such as teal green, plum and pink , and green , mustard and light grey for example.

The afghan blankets create an elegant and unique housewarming gift and are the ideal gift for birthdays, Christmas and for weddings too.
