Full description
This is a gorgeous cabochon. Purchased many years ago from a jeweller who alters and repairs antique and vintage jewellery. This cabochon features Carved tigers eye, set into mother of pearl and has 18K yellow gold inlay. I haven't seen another like it!
I believe this stone may have been cut for a brooch or pin, as there is a small hole on the revers for securing it onto a peg fitment. This could be covered with a closed backing.
