What's a Collagraph? A collagraph is an assemblage of various materials (textured papers, plaster, plastics, fabric) and these are glued onto a printing plate, which is usually cardboard.
The plate is then sealed using shellac / varnish and left to dry. Once the plate is dry it is ready to be inked up using oil or water based ink.
Paper is prepared and place on top of the inked plate. It then goes through a printing press. The paper is then carefully lifted off the plate to reveal the image.

This Art print is a reproduction of my original Collagraph and Screenprinted Collage.
Title: Across the Fields
Collage is one of my favourite things to do. As a printmaker you tend to have lots of paper either left over or sometimes intentionally produced with a view of making further pictures. This picture is exactly that. It's made using torn up pieces of collagraphs prints, some screen prints and some hand drawing too for good measure.
This listing is for one Art Print and the mount is included too.

The print comes wrapped in cellophane in a cardboard back padded envelope.
Frame not included.
