I love finding unusual items to cast in resin.
When I was growing up I used to be given a sixpence as my "wages" by my Grandad and they hold a special place in my heart - as I'm sure they do for many other people.
I found an old sixpence in a box of old coins and decided to clean it and see what it looked like cast in resin. Since then I've bought more sixpences especially to cast in resin.
I thought this sixpence keyring would make an unusual gift for a birthday or anniversary.

A 1957 lucky sixpence captured inside a resin keyring.
I made this keyring with an old sixpence coin that I have cast in clear resin. The coin had been in circulation and although it has been cleaned and polished it isn't in pristine, as new, condition. It is no longer legal tender in the UK since decimalisation.
This resin keyring measures 4cm x 2.5cm. It is 0.6cm deep.
Please note: There are a few tiny air bubbles in the resin.
In order to keep prices and shipping costs as low as possible I do not include a "free" gift box. All items will come carefully wrapped in tissue paper inside bubble wrap.
All the resin pieces I use have been made by me in my workshop at home. Please be aware that they might have slight imperfections and air bubbles as they were made by hand not by a machine. I hope you find this adds to their individuality and quirkiness.
