Monte Carlo Polo Poncho. Crocheted in 100% acrylic designer yarn on a large hoo in a tripple crochet stitch, to give a loose lacy design stitch, and simple double crochet at the neckline. Perfect to go over any outfit!
This has been a bit of a labour of love and taken days to complete, but the completed item is totally unique and would be a pretty addition to the wardrobe, to be worn for additional warmth and style.
Monte Carlo Polo Poncho is an item of clothing which can worn by a lady of any size between UK size 6 to 18. Obviously, the taller you are, the shorter in length the polo poncho will sit on your body.
I do not work from patterns, everything I create is from my own imagination and totally unique.
Very easy to wear, simply pop over the head and away you go, no fddling with buttons or zips. The ultimate in comfort.
The colour of the designer yarn are oatmeal, with flecks of beige, cream, russet and brown tones.
Crocheted in a continuous line, starting at the polo neck and increasing in stitches, to allow for shoulder and body width. There are no seams or joins in this item of clothing.
Approximate measurements: With the loose polo neck folded over as pictured, the length of the poncho is approx 80cms and the width at its widest point, the base of the poncho is approx 80cms in diameter. I am 5ft 6 inches and of medium build, the poncho would sit at hip length on me.
