Rainbow Curls Stained Glass Suncatcher Abstract 007

Rainbow Curls Stained Glass Suncatcher Abstract 007
Love this

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

A new design in 2014 as I wanted a bright and colourful suncatcher on a gloriously sunny day so I made this.

It is a ring of 6 rainbow coloured glass curls round a central large mutli-faceted lead crystal. Round that is a second ring of rainbow curls.

I've used lots of different textures as well as colours so this has movement and vibrancy as well as an exceptional sparkle from the central crystal.
The suncatcher is 5" in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain which is securely attached by soldered little ring to the top.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.

The 5th photo shows the suncatcher I made previously. You can see they are both different though to the same design.

This really is beautifully bright and will surely cast some lovely colours into the room when the light catches it.

The 5th photo is the suncatcher I sold previously so you can see each is different.

Such a glorious day today that I needed to make something beautifully bright and cheerful to match my mood.
