A gorgeous nuno felted scarf in white merino wool with a rainbow coloured border.
This scarf has been made using a very fine layer of white merino wool nuno felted to both sides of a silk chiffon scarf. A border has been added using a rainbow blend of merino wool laid out so as to create a slightly ruffled border once felted.
Beautifully soft and lightweight this scarf measures approximately 160cm x 33 cm (63" x 13"), long enough to wrap around the neck for added warmth.
The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. The fibres have been added in a very fine layers thus maintaining the sheer nature of the silk whilst adding the softness and warmth of the wool.
Perfect teamed up with any outfit, smart or casual it would make an ideal gift. It is supplied packaged in a lovely gift box as shown.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and iron on a cool (wool/silk) setting or press with a cloth. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
