We found the colourful vintage fabric at a textiles fair here in the west country. Loving the fabric, we couldn't rest till we'd found the perfect, complementary vintage buttons, and bag frame and handles, from our Aladdin's cave of gorgeous bits and pieces. Here is the result - a great Christmas party bag at a very reasonable price.

Full description
This is a perfect over-the-shoulder purse or handbag to take to Christmas parties! We used a vintage fabric in warm Christmassy colours and complemented its geometric pattern with a decorative row of Art Deco-style vintage buttons. The gold-coloured purse frame and handles are in a pretty, ornate design with a crystal covered snap-closure. There's even a chain if you want to wear the bag over your shoulder (leaving you free to dance the night away!). Alternatively, the chain can be tucked in if you prefer to carry the bag. It is fully lined in blue, pure cotton fabric.
