Full description
This beautiful scarf in a deep burgundy red with white floral detail has been made using a nuno felting technique. Fine layers of soft merino wool fibres have been nuno felted to both sides of a silk chiffon base fabric. This process results in the wool fibres binding with the silk chiffon resulting in a gorgeously soft and lightweight scarf that drapes beautifully. A white floral design has been added to both ends of the scarf on one side prior to felting.
The scarf measures approximately 172cm x 38cm (68" x15") and is long enough to wrap around the neck to provide extra warmth. Being made from all natural materials the scarf will be warm in winter yet cool in summer.
The scarf comes packaged in a lovely kraft card window presentation box making it an ideal gift idea for any occasion.
Handwash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool iron (wool/silk setting) or press with a cloth.
