This is a Swarovski crystal and pearl necklace choker that has been knotted in the traditional way. It has a miyuki pendant with a rose motive that has been attached using sterling silver wire.

The pale pink and rose crystal pearls are very feminine and will add a real elegant touch to any outfit. The pearls are balanced with Swarovski crystals which give just the right amount of sparkle.

The Pendant has been pieced together with a tiny crystal pearl at the base to bring out the colour in the pendant and to create a drop effect, drawing the eye across the pearls and down to the pendant for maximum effect.

You can't help but feel elegant when wearing this choker necklace.

In the past, pearl necklaces were always knotted to protect the pearls from rubbing against each other and to ensure that if the string snapped, the wearer would only lose one pearl, as pearls were, and still are, so valuable.

Although these pearls are not genuine pearls but are Swarovski crystal pearls, I took time and care to knot this choker between the pearls to give it a classical, vintage look.

This is a choker style necklace at 15" long and is designed to sit at the base of the neck. If you're unsure please measure around your neck to see if this is the right size for you.
