At Popinjay, I rescue tatty and unloved books, and turn them into something new and lovely. These Shakespeare books are so sweet and teeny. Light enough to place on the branches of a Christmas tree...

Full description
This pretty little antique Shakespeare book has been turned into a gift box, perfect for placing on the Christmas tree: An ideal place to hide a special festive treat, such as a ring, earrings or cufflinks. The book measures approximately 12 cm x 8 cm x 1.5 cm, with an interior of approximately 10.5 cm x 6.5 cm x 1.5 cm. Inside it has been lined with contemporary Christmas craft paper. The book can be tied closed using the ribbons.
As with all antique/vintage items, this may show signs of wear such as scratches, creases etc... All these just add to the character and the authenticity of the piece.
